Listening to your neighborhood, from Luxembourg to Braga
Laetitia Kozlova
Description
This project explores sound mapping as a critical and sensitive mode of architectural representation. Based on recorded voices of inhabitants in their native languages, it documents urban environments through listening rather than visual analysis. By situating conversations within the spaces where they emerge, the work reveals the acoustic, social, and linguistic complexity of territories. It proposes sound as a relational medium capable of connecting experiences, documenting lived environments, and contributing to the construction of a shared acoustic commons.
