Lift Holleschbierg

Description

The elevator creates a new connection between the town center of Hesperange and the higher-lying Holleschbierg plateau.

As a barrier-free public infrastructure, it improves and promotes the link between the sports facilities on Holleschbierg and the town center of the municipality for pedestrians, cyclists, and people with reduced mobility.

The newly created forecourt on Route de Thionville offers a high-quality public space with urban furniture, space for a restaurant terrace, public toilets, and bicycle parking facilities (MBOX). In this way, the project encourages social interaction and vibrant everyday use.
