TIMELESS BARN

Description

Committed to build a home for up to two people, we transformed an abundant 1st floor of a barn into a modern, open and with daylight filled living space. The windows with their views served as the basis for the composition of the floor plan. In meantime lofty height of the old ceiling allowed us to add a mezzanine that serves as an office with a snug reading corner.

Through the use of elegant yet natural materials and the climb through the tight staircase, you still have the feeling of entering a barn, where you will be impressed by the light flowing through the space. By merging the original sand stone wall with neutral and sustainable interior finishes, we turned an abundant barn into a timeless home.
