The Beauty of Less

The Beauty of Less

Description

This project proposes a gentle renovation of a 1930s terraced house, treating the existing building as a living resource.
It engages in dialogue with what is already there: revealing its qualities, respecting its traces, and limiting interventions - minimal demolition, preserved volumes, and retained original elements.
In a context of resource scarcity, this approach becomes an act of responsibility: less materials, greater attention to what already exists.
Clay, wood, plant fibres, and recycled elements - offer a rich sensory quality.

Architecture becomes an act of care: care for the building, for resources, and for its inhabitants - opening the way to more sober, fair, sustainable living.
