Description

The school and sports centre consists of a mineral base housing the shared spaces, topped by two timber-clad wings opening towards the hillside and creating protected outdoor areas. The programme includes classrooms for 600 pupils, childcare facility, library, multifunctional space, teaching kitchen, canteen and music school. The different cycles are organized in clusters of 4 classrooms around a central space that encourages interaction. The adjacent sports centre adopts a compact, minimal volume optimizing available space. The double-height hall is surrounded by auxiliary functions on two levels. The project is designed with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
