Description
The Parc Vallée de la Pétrusse project in Luxembourg reimagines a major historic landscape corridor within the UNESCO World Heritage setting of Luxembourg’s fortified city. Combining ecology, heritage conservation, and contemporary public use, the intervention restructures the Pétrusse River banks, restores ecological and hydraulic systems, creates a continuous urban promenade, and introduces new recreational and leisure spaces. By reconnecting the UNESCO-listed fortifications, surrounding neighborhoods, and natural valley landscape, the project strengthens the dialogue between cultural heritage and modern urban life while renewing one of Luxembourg’s most emblematic public spaces.
