Station de traitement d‘eau centralisée « Waasserschapp »
Valentiny hvp Architects
Description
The “Waasserschapp” project in Remerschen transforms a former municipal depot, originally built by Valentiny hvp Architects, into a centralized water treatment station. The existing building is complemented by a tower and organized around a patio, forming a coherent ensemble.
A key milestone for the municipalities of Mondorf and Schengen, the facility improves water quality through partial pressurized treatment, reducing hardness while preserving essential minerals.
Equipped with advanced ELMEC installations, it can treat up to 5,200 m³ per day and eliminates the need for domestic water softeners, reducing both costs and environmental impact.
