The House for All
STDM architectes urbanistes
Description
Located in the new Elmen district, the “Maison pour tous” embodies a clear architectural concept balancing openness and identity. A transparent and permeable base accommodates public functions, extending the surrounding public space into the building. Above, a compact and more introverted volume appears to float, housing flexible spaces for cultural and community uses. This duality creates a strong spatial and formal expression. The project emphasizes materiality through the use of wood and durable elements, fostering a warm and tactile atmosphere. It ultimately proposes an inclusive, legible, and generous architecture rooted in its urban context.
