Unter der Hohen Brücke

Description
Unter der Hohen Brücke – digging in a ditch / writing for a place is a bilingual publication at the intersection of architecture, poetry and site-specific writing. Taking Vienna’s Tiefer Graben/Hohe Brücke as a case study, it explores how places are shaped not only by built form, but by perception, language, memory and use. Through an essay, encounters and a sketchbook, the book constructs a layered reading of one site. The writing does not simply describe the place; it activates it, inviting readers to enter and participate. By digging into spatial, historical and poetic layers, the project asks how meaning is made through interaction with our environment.
