Description

The new headquarter for the consulting engineering firm Goblet Lavandier & Associés has been designed and built with the latest standards in working environment and building techniques. The building is very compact on the ground (25 x 25m), optimizing the construction limits and consists of a concrete structure with a façade made of galvanized sheet metal cladding. In order to create a healthy and comfortable working environment, the interior design was completed with many communication spaces. The ground floor hosts all collective uses, such as reception, conference halls and canteen. The core area in all five above-ground levels comprises circulation and sanitary units and creates a flexible, circulating, naturally lit office zone. There are a 100 parking spots provided in the three and a half underground levels. The architectural concept used the latest techniques to allow the construction of an energy-efficient building, planned in a sustainable manner and making intensive use of renewable energies (geothermal and photovoltaic). The building exceeds the AAA standard, is also DGNB Platinum certified, and has the highest rating in the DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) 2018 office building ranking.
