Description
Strutzbierg School features a natural play area adjacent to the Sports Hall, utilizing natural materials to foster learning. Key elements include a water feature, sandpit, raised planting beds, and sloping areas with vegetation tunnels. The design promotes plant growth through rainwater absorption and avoids concrete to conserve resources. Renewable wicker structures encourage role-play, while wooden furniture emphasizes sustainability. A barefoot path offers sensory exploration of natural surfaces. Central to the playground is a meeting area with a totem pole, surrounded by a willow structure for intimacy. The educational raised beds cultivate local plants. An access point accommodates PMR.
