Ferme Septfontaines

Description

This project transforms a traditional farm into a modern home by preserving its exterior stone walls. Inside, an independent wooden shell creates a "box-in-a-box" structure. The design exclusively uses natural materials, featuring extensive woodwork and clay plastering on the walls, which integrate an invisible wall heating system. History is kept alive by reusing original architectural elements like ladders and door frames. Sections of the old walls are also preserved, with antique doors seamlessly blended into the new layout to bridge past and present.
