The catalogue devoted to Charles Arendt, Luxembourg’s first state architect, is essential as it preserves research, documents his projects, and provides deeper historical analysis beyond the exhibition held at the Luxembourg Center for Architecture from 25.11.2025 to 31.01.2026. It highlights the emergence of a national architecture in 19th-century Luxembourg City, at a pivotal moment when the fortress was being demolished and major urban transformations reshaped the city.
