Bus Stop

Description
Initially, the brief called for two or three bus shelters. The project evolved into a reflection on the canopy and its site. The 50 m-long bus stop lies along a gentle curve and is defined by a strong rhythm of trees that guided the design. Instead of separate shelters, a continuous canopy runs along the platform, reinforcing the site’s natural dynamics and horizontality. The wooden structure, with its columns and roof openings, interacts with the trees, which appear to pass through it. This preserves and highlights the existing vegetation, integrating nature and architecture into a coherent response that promotes sustainable mobility.
