Behind the scenes

LUCA – Luxembourg Center for Architecture is a non-profit foundation declared of public utility, dedicated to promoting architectural, urban and landscape culture. By adopting a multidisciplinary and multiscalar approach, LUCA collaborates with architects, urban planners, engineers, researchers, academic and heritage institutions to explore contemporary challenges related to the design and transformation of the built — and unbuilt — environment.

As a true platform for exchange and debate, LUCA brings together professionals, citizens and decision-makers around projects, exhibitions and initiatives that question our relationship with the city, the landscape and architecture, while fostering sustainable and creative practices.

Each year, LUCA offers a varied cultural programme that responds to the diversity of its audience: lectures, debates, educational workshops, guided tours, screenings, study trips, etc.

Thanks to its team of professionals and the support of its partners, LUCA works to promote architecture, urbanism and landscape in Luxembourg, while raising public awareness and nurturing critical debate about the built environment.
