Annexe École Lydie Schmit
ATELIER 70 ARCHITECTURE ET URBANISME SARL
Description
Between 2021 and 2024, the Lydie Schmit School was transformed into a sustainable learning hub. The project restored the 1910 "National Monument" building using Eco-materials and solar power, while adding a modern AAA-rated solid wood annex. Linked by a footbridge, the two structures offer 7,000 m² of bright, functional space integrated with new green zones. The site now harmoniously blends architectural heritage with future-oriented innovation. The focus for our participation will remain on the annex.
