Construction de l’ensemble Residentiel
MARS - Metropolitan Architecture Research Studio
Description
According to the master plan, the “Nonnewiesen N6” project is designed as a deliberately high-density building complex that deviates from the classic typology of the perimeter block. The central typological element is the row housing built atop a two-story neighborhood garage, thereby directly contributing to the concept of sustainable mobility for the entire neighborhood while also preserving the undeveloped area. The buildings are oriented toward the south, and a private, weather-protected outdoor area provides self-shading for the south facades.
The building structures are constructed of wood and, as a typology, meet the requirements for social housing in Luxembourg.
