Passerelle des Arts

Description

Passerelle des Arts is a footbridge crossing a State-owned forest, linking a rapidly developing district to the Modern Art Museum of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The project is based on two key ideas: preserving this precious urban forest and creating an elegant means of access to major cultural sites that were previously difficult to reach. The bridge is carefully positioned to protect all existing trees, expressing strong respect for its environment. Its reflective structure, made of polished stainless steel, interacts with light and surroundings, subtly changing appearance with viewpoints, seasons and time of day, creating a dynamic and immersive experience.
