Äerdschëff

Description

Äerdschëff is a public bioclimatic building inspired by Earthships and adapted to Luxembourg’s climate and regulations. Conceived as a low-tech prototype, it combines reused materials, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy, and passive design within a participatory construction process. More than an environmental demonstrator, it is a civic learning infrastructure where resource autonomy, circular construction, and democratic self-build are translated into an architecture of resilience, transmission, and collective use.
