Circuit Mansfeld
Shaaf MILANI-NIA, Marc Schoellen
Description
The Mansfeld Trail in Luxembourg is a 4.6 km circular walk exploring the historic estate of Count Pierre-Ernest de Mansfeld. It begins in Mansfeld Park, once a Renaissance garden with terraces and themed sections along the Alzette River.
The route follows the river, passes historic features, and climbs through former estate grounds and wooded areas, including the Malakoff Tower. A highlight is the panoramic view from the plateau near Mudam and the Musée Dräi Eechelen.
The return path leads past historic fortifications and estate remains before ending back in Mansfeld Park. An augmented reality app provides additional information and 3D reconstructions.
