Our New Housing – An Invitation to Cooperate, Exhibition at LUCA

This exhibition unpacked the potential of housing cooperatives to address Luxembourg's housing crisis. Grounded in PhD research, it presented the status quo of the crisis, the principles of co-ops, historical precedents from other countries, and the architectural diversity that participatory design processes within a decommodified logic can deliver. It concluded with a call for action through the launch of For Future Members Only, a platform connecting individuals interested in co-ops. The exhibition and its public program aimed to introduce housing cooperatives to Luxembourg, trigger curiosity and public discourse, and generate real interest in this alternative housing model.
