Description
WATERforum is not a garden but a 1:1 experimental case study. Building on territorial research done in Luxembourg, it addresses water as a critical resource under pressure from climate change and urban growth. The project tests phytoremediation by filtering Alzette river water through selected plants and substrates, in collaboration with Uni.lu and public institutions. A minimal circular system integrates ecology and technology: a steel beam supports filtration, a solar pump circulates water, and UV light completes purification. The installation culminates in a mirror pond reflecting the city fortress, symbolically framing water management as both technical and collective commitment.
