MAISON MAD

Description

Located within a lush green environment, hosting an ensemble of 4 houses by the same architect, MAD is all about orientation. While in the North it appears closed, but still welcoming, it faces South with big openings that let the outside scenery and the sun right in.
Built on a strict grid, a consistent combination of natural materials are all brought together with a strong care for the very smallest detail.
On ground floor, the movable wooden walls allow various room combinations for the changing needs of the family that enjoys living here.
Upstairs, each of the 4 independent rooms is treated with the same enthusiasm, offering daylight till the bathroom hidden behind slightly mirrored glass.

Underneath, but still getting sunlight, half of the house hosts a 18m swimming stripe and wellness amenities, yet respecting the unique signature of this house in constant search for harmony.
