goTen – bar and restaurant

Description

The goTen project is a dialogue with the existing urban fabric of Luxembourg, located near the Palais Grand-Ducal. This ground-floor intervention transforms a 1980s space into a hybrid restaurant and nightclub operating day and night. Original materials, including exposed brick and travertine flooring extending outdoors, create continuity with the city. New elements – a ceramic bar and custom steel furniture – reinterpret the structure. Natural and reclaimed materials reduce environmental impact, while glass bricks introduce soft light. Acoustic design ensures coexistence with residential spaces above, creating a balanced and sustainable urban experience.
