Annexe Valentiny Foundation

Description

The Valentiny Foundation, located in Remerschen in the municipality of Schengen, was founded in 2014 and established in 2016 in the former school building. The existing structure, comprising two classrooms, a basement, and former teachers’ residences, was preserved 100% during an initial transformation, and later complemented by a contemporary extension on the former schoolyard site to the south of the property.

In 2020, a second phase enabled the construction of an annex on the north façade, which is now a central element of the project. The complex houses a permanent exhibition as well as cultural spaces dedicated to architecture.
