Description
The “Maison Relais” building in Junglinster is part of the municipal programme aimed at creating additional extracurricular spaces to meet the growing needs of the commune. The new facility has a capacity for 487 schoolchildren, divided into two groups for cycle 1 and two groups for cycle 2. Around sixty children also use the dining facilities for lunch.
The building is a timber construction with a solid core containing the stairs and elevators. Its façade combines aluminium cladding and wooden cladding. It is certified DGNB.
Particular attention has been given to material selection to ensure high standards of acoustic, thermal, olfactory, and visual comfort
