Description

Faced with contemporary migration flows, Luxembourg rethinks reception beyond housing, focusing on conditions for coexistence. The ONA project in Kirchberg, at the edge of Grünewald, provides temporary accommodation for asylum seekers as an urban fragment integrated into its context. A shared ground-floor “Quartier Stuff” fosters exchange and daily interaction between residents and newcomers. The prefabricated timber structure combines urgency with a warm domestic atmosphere and allows future conversion into permanent housing.
