Urban Sketches capturing Luxembourg City’s Apéri’tours

At the heart of the Apéri’tours, live sketches by Arnaud De Meyer and Thomas Untereiner (STDM architectes) captured the essence of each place—volumes, uses, and atmospheres. Drawn in situ, they became immediate tools for dialogue, helping residents, planners, and decision-makers share perspectives and enrich a collaborative design process.
From June to October 2024, the City of Luxembourg organized 22 Apéri’tours across its neighborhoods, gathering nearly 1,800 participants to present urban projects and foster direct exchange with residents.
