Résidence Aster

Description

Situated at the edge of Gasperich park in the Cloche d'Or district, the Aster Residence accommodates 70 apartments across 6 floors on a prominent corner plot.
The concept plays on a tension between two material registers. A natural stone volume asserts a mineral urban presence, from which sinuous wave-shaped balconies in lacquered steel detach themselves as a continuous organic element wrapping all facades and corners. Towards the park, balconies project generously outward; towards the street, they narrow into loggias.
This opposition between stone and metal, mass versus fluidity, defines the project's architectural identity.
